We're recruiting an Assembly Operative for a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Chalgrove. You'll be assembling pyrotechnic components including cartridges and rocket motors for aviation safety systems - precision work with explosive materials in a highly regulated environment.

What you'll be doing:

Assembling pyrotechnic components to engineering drawings and work instructions

Using weighing equipment and specialist tooling to achieve precise tolerances

Handling explosive materials safely in accordance with strict procedures

Interpreting assembly drawings, identifying part numbers, drawing issues, and batch identification

Maintaining and monitoring tools and equipment for fitness for purpose

Updating SAP to record work in progress accurately

Ensuring all work meets quality standards and H&S regulations including explosives compliance

Contributing to housekeeping and maintaining a safe, clean working environment

What you need:

Basic production or manufacturing experience

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (training provided)

Understanding of H&S policies and procedures

Attention to detail and ability to work to precise tolerances

Basic PC and SAP skills

Team player who can work independently

Self-starter with good communication skills

GCSE grades D-G (or equivalent)

Experience with explosives or pyrotechnic assembly is ideal, but full training will be provided to the right person with a solid manufacturing background.

Days-based role: 08:00-16:45 Mon-Thu / 08:00-12:00 Fri
