An exciting opportunity to join an established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a Purchasing & Planning Manager to lead procurement and production planning activities. This is a key role where you will take ownership of supplier performance, material availability, and production scheduling to ensure efficient and on-time delivery. Salary: £40,000 £55,000 Location: UK (On-site) East Sussex Full-Time | Permanent
Essential Requirements: Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within manufacturing
Experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control
Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
Experience using ERP/MRP systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable: Experience managing or leading a team
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
Experience working in precision engineering or technical manufacturing environments
Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Engineering
