Procurement Manager - Food & Ingredients

London (Hybrid)

Up to £55,000 plus bonus package

Our Client

Our client is a fast paced food brand within the hospitality sector. They have a well known brand that is innovative, forward thinking and dynamic.

The role

You will be an essential part of the procurement team, buying a range of proteins, produce, dairy and other ingredients categories

Responsibilities include;

• Lead the procurement across various food & ingredients categories
• Building long term and strategic relationships with global suppliers.
• Ensuring risk is managed where possible to ensure supply.
• Working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
• Leading and negotiating on supplier contracts.
• Ensuring 'procurement best practice' is implemented.

Required experience

• 4 + years of procurement experience within food or ingredients
• Experienced working within the food or FMCG industry
• The ability to work both autonomously and as a team.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong influencing skills, commercial and category management skills
