Job Description
Our client, a global leader in the design and manufacture of specialist products, is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join their team in Marden. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a key department, shaping purchasing strategies and contributing to the company's continued success.\n\nPosition Overview\n\nAs the Purchasing Manager, you will be central to the company's operations. You will develop and execute purchasing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Your leadership will ensure the supply chain is robust, supporting production and contributing directly to the company's high-quality standards and global reputation.\n\nResponsibilities:\n - Develop and lead purchasing and logistics strategies.\n- Track and report on key performance indicators.\n- Manage and assess supplier performance and relationships.\n- Negotiate contracts and supply agreements.\n- Maintain accurate purchasing data within SAP.\n- Lead, train, and develop the purchasing team.\n- Manage the importation process for overseas goods.\n- Collaborate on group-wide purchasing initiatives.\n- Present quarterly performance reviews to leadership.\n\nRequirements:\n - Previous experience working as a Purchasing Manager.\n- CIPS qualification is highly .\n- Strong experience in sourcing and negotiation processes.\n- Excellent communication and leadership skills.\n- Proficient in data analysis and senior management reporting.\n- Good knowledge of current purchasing regulations.\n- Ability to travel across the UK and Europe when required.\n- Experience using SAP is essential.\n\nBenefits include:\nFlexi working hours\nPension after three months\nLife assurance from day 1\nHealth Shield after six months\n25 days holiday + bank hols\n\nAt KHR we take care to ensure that you are represented as well as possible so it is worth checking your CV for layout, spelling and grammar as well as making sure it is up to date before you submit.
