Purchasing Manager Opportunity to join an established, stable, market leading manufacturing business and contribute to their on-going success through strategic purchasing initiatives. What you’ll be doing: Analyse demand and production plans to ensure availability of materials and components in a fast-paced, multi-stage manufacturing process Management of supplier relationships Working with on-site management team to ensure materials inventory meets near term and projected demand Planning, running and managing MRP Manage small procurement team Occasional overseas travel to suppliers What you’ll bring to the role: Proven ability to analyse highly variable production and demand data and turn into a reliable materials and inventory supply plan Extensive MRP management experience, preferably from a multi-product manufacturing environment Ability to manage and build relationships with overseas suppliers in Far East Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills Able to travel occasionally overseas Excellent IT skills including MS Excel Competitive salary and career development opportunties available to suitably qualified candidates
