We're partnering with a well-established, multi-site UK business that is strengthening its finance function and looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to take ownership of Accounts Payable.
This is a true supervisory role — suited to an experienced Senior AP / Purchase Ledger Supervisor who wants responsibility, influence, and the chance to bring structure and consistency to a busy AP function.
The Opportunity As Purchase Ledger Supervisor , you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the purchase ledger, supervising a small team and acting as the go-to person for all AP matters.
You'll remain hands-on , while also setting standards, improving processes, and ensuring deadlines are met. Key responsibilities include: Supervising and supporting the Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable team Ensuring timely and accurate processing of ~2,500 invoices per month Reviewing and approving payment runs Acting as the escalation point for supplier queries Providing accurate data for weekly cash flow reporting Identifying and implementing process improvements Maintaining strong controls and consistency across the ledger ...
