Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temporary – 3 Months)Location: Castleford Salary: £14.30 - £15.30 per hour DOE Hours: 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)Job SummaryWe are currently seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our clients Finance team on a 3-month temporary basis. This role will support the efficient running of the Accounts Payable function and assist with the reconciliation of the purchase ledger.Key Responsibilities Processing high volumes of supplier invoices (material and non-material)Performing supplier statement reconciliationsProactively chasing suppliers following pro forma paymentHandling supplier queries in a timely and professional mannerPreparing payment runs for the full purchase ledgerAssisting with month-end processes, including journal entriesSupporting GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) reconciliationAnswering finance-related calls where requiredLiaising with internal departments to resolve queries Requirements Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable roleExperience using an ERP systemStrong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage workload and meet tight deadlinesStrong communication skills, both written and verbal A great opportunity to gain valuable experience within a busy finance team.Aqumen Recruitment is acting as a recruitment business in relation to this vacancy.JBRP1_UKTJ
