We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy and growing business based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is immediately available and looking to secure a temp-to-perm role within a supportive finance team.Due to increased transaction volumes and ongoing process improvements, the business requires a proactive and detail oriented individual who can hit the ground running.Key Responsibilities:Processing high volumes of supplier invoices (300-500 per week) accurately and efficientlyPerforming 3-way matching (purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes)Investigating and resolving invoice and pricing discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholdersPreparing and processing supplier payment runsReconciling supplier statements and managing outstanding queriesMaintaining accurate and up to date purchase ledger recordsAbout You:Proven experience in Accounts Payable / Purchase LedgerComfortable working in a high volume environmentStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsExperience with 3 way matching is essentialExposure to payroll processes is desirable but not essentialImmediately available or on a short notice periodWhat's on Offer:Opportunity to transition into a permanent roleOn site working environment with a collaborative teamStoke-on-Trent (5 days on-site)15-16 per hour (29-31K equiv)Temporary to Permanent (Initial 3 month contract)Immediate Start RequiredIf you are immediately available and ready to take on a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
