Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum. Location: Blackburn Working: Office Base, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00. Positions: 2 available
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our property finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate data entry and timely payments to suppliers. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting software and excellent analytical skills to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.
Main responsibilities:
Process purchase invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded in the accounting system. Dealing with queries if any invoice is disputed. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of all transactions related to accounts payable. Assist with month-end closing procedures, including preparing reports for management review. Dealing with full process from PO to enter for Payment.
