The Role
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Administrator with a strong background in construction procurement to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting the purchasing function, ensuring smooth and efficient procurement processes for high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide administrative support to the purchasing and procurement team.

* Manage purchase orders, supplier documentation, and procurement records.

* Liaise professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels.

* Assist with procurement scheduling and ensure timely delivery of materials.

* Support compliance with JCT contracts and commercial processes.

Requirements:

* Minimum 4 years’ experience in a purchasing or procurement support role within the construction industry.

* Strong administrative background with excellent organizational skills.

* Knowledge and understanding of construction procurement materials.

* Familiarity with JCT contracts or commercial processes.

* Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.

Desirable:

* Experience working in a main contractor or specialist subcontractor procurement team.

* Understanding of construction materials such as timber, steelwork, MEP components, and finishes.

Personal Characteristics:

* Highly organized and detail-focused.

* Ability to manage multiple procurement tasks simultaneously.

* Strong communication skills and confidence when interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
