Salary: Up to £60,000, 4 day week + excellent benefits

Seeking an experienced, senior level local authority finance specialist with a passion for providing insights, technical guidance and training.

Overview:

Working for a leading finance institute, you will provide financial insights to members (local authorities), answer technical queries, and deliver tailored communications and training.

A typical week:

* Engagement with members

* Respond to detailed technical enquiries

* Research, collate & deliver insights, training & events

* Liaise with stakeholders on legislation changes

You'll need the following:

* 3 years senior local authority finance experience

* Knowledge of the Local Authority Accounting Code of Practice

* Experience delivering training/insights

* CIPFA or equivalent qualified (desirable)
