Public Sector Audit Manager / Senior Manager

Glasgow/Edinburgh up to £68,000

An excellent opportunity to join the expanding Public Sector Audit team of our prestigious CA firm client. The Public Sector team provides distinctive audit and advisory services across five sectors - local government, central government, health and social care, education, housing and charities. As Senior Manager you will

• Lead multiple audit engagements from planning through to finalisation of reports in line with agreed timescales.
• Work closely with clients and be committed to providing an exceptional service.
• Be responsible for the day-to-day management of stakeholder relationships at audited entities and will be expected to work with senior level staff whilst overseeing and developing
• Work closely with Senior leaders up to Partner

About you

• CA / ACCA / ACA / CIPFA qualified
• Prior experience of working at Manager or Senior Manager grade.
• Relevant Public Sector audit experience. Local Government experience particularly is advantageous
• Holds significant experience of leading external audits managing a portfolio of clients and leading audit teams.
