We are currently recruiting for an experienced PTS Electrician to work on a range of rail infrastructure projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering high-quality electrical works within the rail sector.

The Role

As a PTS Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing works in a rail environment, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with rail industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works on rail projects

*

Work safely in a live rail environment, adhering to all site rules and procedures

*

Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications

*

Complete testing, inspection, and fault-finding activities

*

Ensure compliance with rail safety standards, RAMS, and electrical regulations

*

Liaise with site supervisors and project teams to support project delivery

*

Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation

Required Skills & Experience

*

Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification – essential

*

Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations – essential

*

Experience working within the rail industry

*

ECS / JIB card preferred

*

Ability to work nights, weekends, and shifts where required

*

Strong understanding of health & safety in a rail environment
