Teacher of German (Part Time, 0.50 FTE) - Prestigious Independent SchoolStart Date: September 2026

Connaught Education is working with a highly prestigious independent school to recruit a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of German. This part-time role (0.5) offers the opportunity to join a thriving and successful Modern Foreign Languages department.

The successful candidate will teach German up to Sixth Form level, including supporting academically ambitious students preparing for Oxbridge. This role is suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs with a strong academic background. Independent school experience is highly desirable.

Role Overview:

• Teach German across Key Stages, up to Sixth Form
• Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative MFL department
• Support students to achieve excellent academic outcomes

Person Specification:

• Strong academic background
• Experience in the independent sector preferred
• Ability to teach German to a high standard, including Sixth Form/Oxbridge preparation
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students
• Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs
