We’re working with a range of welcoming primary schools across East Bristol who are looking for graduates to join them as Teaching Assistants. You’ll be supported from day one and given the chance to build confidence quickly.
What the role looks like day-to-day
You’ll be right in the heart of the classroom, supporting both the teacher and the pupils.
Working alongside the class teacher to support learning
Helping pupils stay engaged, focused, and confident
Supporting small groups who need a bit of extra help
Providing 1:1 support where needed
Helping manage behaviour in a calm and positive way
Creating a classroom environment where every child feels included

You don’t need previous school experience. What matters most is your attitude.
A graduate in any subject
A genuine interest in working with children
Patience, resilience, and a sense of humour
Someone who can stay calm and think on their feet

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
