With decades of expertise, they support global defence and security operations, offering end-to-end solutions from design and prototyping through to integration and support. We are looking for a hands-on Prototype Wire Technician to join a growing engineering team working on cutting-edge, bespoke technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the full product development lifecycle, building and supporting high-quality prototype systems in a fast-paced R&D environment. Responsibilities: Carrying out prototype wiring, including soldering, crimping, and cable assembly Building electrical and electromechanical assemblies from technical drawings and schematics Interpreting wiring diagrams, BOMs, and engineering instructions Supporting prototype builds, modifications, and design changes Conducting basic inspection and testing Ensuring all work meets quality standards (IPC-A-610 / IPC-A-620) Working closely with engineering and production teams to resolve build issues Due to the nature of the role, only candidates born in the UK will be considered.
