We are working with a leading London-based law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Property Litigation practice.

The Role

The candidate will join an esteemed Property Disputes team, working on a range of contentious property matters for the firm’s diverse client base. The candidate’s duties will include advising on commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, such as rent recovery, forfeiture claims and possession, enforcement of easements, rights of way, and restrictive covenants, and beneficial interest disputes.

The candidate will play a key supporting role within the team, facilitating the growth and development of junior members through supervision, training, and mentoring. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

• 5-10 PQE;
• Strong background in contentious property matters. Previous experience in construction disputes highly advantageous;
• Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
• Outstanding academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Negotiation skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
