Property Accountant - Real Estate. An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Accountant to join a leading real estate investor who owns one of London's most prestigious commercial properties. You will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, service charge accounting, and administrative support.\n\nTHE ROLE / Key Responsibilities of the Property Accountant:\n\nResponsible for Accounts Payable to include processing of purchase orders, invoices and carrying out BACS payments on a weekly basis.\nResponsible for Accounts Receivable to includes preparation of tenant demands, VAT invoices and collection of rents, insurance rents, service charges and other rents.\nAssisting in preparing annual service charge budgets and year-end reconciliations in line with RICS standards.\nProducing closing statements, annual reconciliations and tenant packs.\nUndertaking credit control and respond to tenant financial queries promptly.\nAssisting with VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and month-end reporting.\nResponsible for Account Payable to include processing of purchase orders, invoices and carrying out BACS payments on a weekly basis.\nMonitoring insurance claims and coordinating with insurers as required.\nCoordinating tenant communications, quarterly reports, and general correspondence.

\n\nTHE PERSON requirements:\n\nPart-qualified accountant or equivalent (preferred).\nAt least 5 years' experience in a property management or real estate finance environment.\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint (essential).\nExperience using MRI / QUBE or similar property management software (preferred).\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nHighly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently to meet deadlines. \n\nBENEFITS:\n\nPension\nHealth Care\nCritical Illness\nLife Assurance \n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nThis is an outstanding opportunity to join a respected and stable real estate management organisation offering a professional, supportive working culture.
