Location: Birmingham (Hybrid - 2 days on-site per week)
Contract: 3 months
Hays is working in partnership with a local council to recruit a Project Support Officer within the HR department. This is a fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of programmes and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and maintain all workshop calendar invites.
Respond to or escalate enquiries sent to the EP programme team inbox.
Book meeting rooms for workshops.
Update programme trackers and maintain accurate records.
Record and follow up on actions agreed at Directorate progress review meetings.
Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation.
Upload information into the system and maintain data integrity.
Essential Skills & Experience
Organisational & Planning Skills: Ability to manage multiple calendars, schedule workshops, and coordinate logistics efficiently.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong written and verbal communication skills to respond to enquiries and liaise with team members.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in updating trackers and maintaining audit trails.
Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
Problem-Solving & Initiative: Proactive approach to handling change requests and anticipating issues.
