We are working with a value led, multi-disciplinary practice where technical excellence meets a supportive, people focused culture. We are seeking a Project - Senior Structural Engineer to join the expanding team in Oxford, working on an incredible range of projects that span the full spectrum of the built environment. From high security MOD infrastructure and complex railway stations to internationally covered heritage restorations and high end residential apartments, this role offers the variety and autonomy that may seek.


The Project - Senior Structural Engineer will:


  • Take technical lead of projects from initial concept through to on-site delivery.
  • Manage the structural design process for a diverse portfolio, including new-build apartments, railway infrastructure, and high end bespoke residential schemes.
  • Deliver technical solutions for secure MOD environments and provide sensitive engineering input for prestigious heritage and conservation projects.
  • Produce robust structural calculations and drawings in a variety of materials, ensuring full compliance with current Building Regulations and Eurocodes.
  • Work seamlessly with the in-house architects and MEP engineers.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, representing the practice at project meetings and on site.
  • Support the development of junior staff and technicians, contributing to the overall technical growth of the structural team.


We are looking for a Project - Senior Structural Engineer with:


  • A minimum of 3 years of experience within a UK based structural consultancy, ideally with exposure to a mix of new build and refurbishment projects.
  • Understanding of structural behavior across timber, steel, masonry, and RC frames.
  • The ability to pivot between varying projects such as railway, MOD, heritage and high end residential work.


The Package


  • £35,000 - £53,000
  • A 5% employer pension contribution (3% employee salary sacrifice) and Death in Service benefit (2x annual salary).
  • 25 days holiday (rising up to 32 days based on service), plus UK public holidays. (3 days are used for our festive shutdown between Christmas and New Year).
