A very rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Surveyor to join a large Civils and Highways Contractor. As a Project Quantity Surveyor the role will play a key part in the Commercial Team delivering numerous Highways and Civil Engineering projects across the South West region. You will report directly to the Senior/Managing Quantity Surveyor and work closely alongside Commercial and Operations teams.

Requirements:-

Relevant surveying related qualification and/or proven experience in a Construction or Civil Engineering field

Successful and consistent commercial achievement in scheme/project delivery

Sound knowledge of procurement processes, ECI and contracts, Health and Safety and risk management

A good understanding of Contract Conditions, NEC ECC contract practical experience is preferable

Experience in supply chain commercial administration

Experience in financial management and cost control of construction and engineering projects

Demonstrates sound negotiating, written, social and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well

Proven experience in cost control management of construction projects
