Permanent We are currently partnering with a well-established and highly respected main contractor to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor for projects based in Liverpool and the wider Merseyside region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking construction business delivering high-quality schemes across commercial, residential, education, and mixed-use sectors. The Company Our client is a financially stable regional contractor with a strong presence across the North West. With projects typically ranging from £5m to £40m, they have built a reputation for quality delivery, strong client relationships, and a collaborative working culture. Due to continued growth and a secured pipeline of work in Liverpool, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor. The Role As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from procurement through to final account. Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring financial performance and contractual compliance. Key Responsibilities: Managing project costs from pre-construction through delivery Procurement of subcontract packages Preparing and managing subcontract documentation Valuations, variations, and change control Cost reporting and forecasting Managing interim applications and final accounts Supporting risk and value management processes Liaising with site teams and clients About You We are seeking a commercially astute, proactive professional with experience working for a main contractor.
