Advance TRS are working in partnership with a leading highways contractor who are looking for an experienced Project Planner to join a live infrastructure project near Slough.
The role will support the Project Manager in building, maintaining and updating the construction programme across all stages including design, procurement, construction and handover. You will be responsible for tracking progress, spotting risks and critical path activities, and producing clear updates for both internal teams and the client.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in civil engineering or highways projects and be confident working within NEC contracts. You will also work closely with site teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders to make sure the programme is aligned and delivery stays on track.
The Role: * Maintain and update the construction programme in line with contract requirements * Develop an integrated design, procurement and construction programme with clear critical path and milestones * Identify critical path activities, risks and opportunities for improvement or early delivery * Produce short term look ahead programmes to support site delivery * Manage programme change including compensation events and their impact * Produce and present programme updates to internal teams and clients * Work with subcontractors and site teams to keep the programme aligned * Attend progress meetings and share programme updates with stakeholders
Requirements: * Minimum 5 years' experience in a planning role within construction or civil engineering * Strong experience on highways or infrastructure projects * Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project * Good understanding of NEC 3 or NEC 4 contracts * Strong understanding of construction sequencing and critical path analysis * Good communication and reporting skills * Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint * CSCS card desirable
