I am currently recruiting for a Project Officer for a period of 3-6 months to support the delivery of a new build affordable housing programme. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in taking projects from early site identification through to completion and handover, helping to deliver high-quality homes that meet local housing needs. Support the development and delivery of new build housing projects from inception to completion Liaise with internal departments, statutory authorities, developers, and housing colleagues Ensure developments align with housing need, local development plans, and strategy Assist in procurement, appointment, and management of design teams and contractors Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial viability Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory guidance Contribute to continuous improvement through post-project reviews Prepare reports for senior management and elected members Experience delivering new build projects from inception to completion Experience working with budgets, financial monitoring, and performance targets Full UK driving licence Qualification in construction, project management, planning, architecture, quantity surveying, or similar Experience within a social housing environment If you are interested please apply ASAP.
