An exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with strong Data and Analytics experience to join this global Energy Trading company. Who are we? This is an initiative within this Energy Trading company which seeks to protect and grow $500m per annum by leveraging our full data flow advantage in Crude and Products. To achieve this, we are rebuilding our approach to fundamental analytics from the ground up to strengthen our trading bias. We harness the data available within the company, along with all relevant external market data, and make use of cutting-edge technology to deliver human-centred, digital products that give our Analysts and Traders an advantage in the market. Roles and Responsibilities: Project Managers plan, execute, and control a project or set of related projects adhering to the company Project Delivery Framework methodology and other standards at a scale of up to $5M, and with up to 20 team members, with the objective to meet identified business requirements and deliver business value, through acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, risk, quality and benefits. This requires: - Program and project delivery skills in both agile and waterfall methodologies including effective Change Control, Risk Management and Reporting, setting up and executing Project Governance, and managing Programme Leadership and the wider Project Natural team; - Energy trading Domain knowledge and skills, such as Chemicals, Deepwater, Retail, Finance, Legal, HR, and Capital Project lines of business and functions; - Technology skills, such as cloud, mobile, software-as-a-service, digital platforms, ERP, web-based application, networking, workplace productivity, compliance or cybersecurity; - Professional skills, such as leadership (by building and leveraging relationships with senior sponsors, the Programme Manager, and key stakeholders in particular those in the governance of the project), communication and resilience Mandatory skills: - Energy/Commodity Trading experience - Prior knowledge of Project Managing data flow advantages within Trading - PM certification.
