About the Role
Our client, a high-growth leader in the UK construction sector, is seeking a Project Buyer to take ownership of subcontract procurement on live projects. Focused on M&E and building services packages, this is a critical hire that will directly influence project delivery speed, commercial outcomes, and risk management.
What You'll Be Doing
Full ownership of subcontract procurement for live projects

Managing commercial terms, scopes, and BoQs

Collaborating closely with project teams to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery

Supporting risk management and strategic supplier engagement

Ideal Candidate Profile
5 years' experience in subcontract procurement (ideal)

Background in M&E, building services, construction procurement, or utilities/hard FM

Comfortable procuring subcontract packages, commercial terms, and BoQs/scopes

Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset

This is a hands-on, fast-paced procurement role where speed, agility, and pragmatism are key. You will have direct impact on large, complex data centre projects and be part of a delivery-focused team at the forefront of a high-growth market.
Salary & Benefits
Circa £60,000, aligned with market rates

Full benefits package at senior grade
