About the Role: As Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of the full project lifecycle on mechanical packages valued between £2m and £10m. Working closely with commercial and design teams, you’ll ensure smooth delivery across key build stages from pre-con through to commissioning and handover. Responsibilities: Lead mechanical delivery on projects from start to finish. Coordinate subcontractors, internal engineers, and site teams. Work closely with design, commercial, and procurement teams to ensure programme alignment. Attend client meetings, report progress, and troubleshoot technical issues. Ensure all works comply with quality, health & safety, and industry standards. Support junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement processes. Monitor programme and cost performance, flagging risks and variations as needed. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as a Mechanical PM within building services Track record delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plant rooms, and mechanical distribution Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND, NVQ, or degree level) Salary & Benefits: Up to £90,000 basic (depending on experience) Company car or allowance Performance-related bonus Pension, private healthcare & other benefits Career development pathways into Senior PM and Contracts Manager roles
