Project Manager Location: Southampton, UK
Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established, globally recognised marine organisation. Operating at the premium end of the market, the business delivers high-quality refit, maintenance, and technical services to luxury sailing yachts.
This role will be responsible for managing multiple projects from initial client engagement through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end delivery of refit, service, and maintenance projects Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of service and communication throughout Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress against key milestones Coordinate internal teams and external subcontractors across multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, composites, etc.) Ensure all works are completed in line with quality, safety, and regulatory standards Identify and manage project risks, resolving issues proactively Control costs, manage variations, and support commercial reporting Attend client meetings, site visits, and project reviews as requiredRequirements Proven experience in a Project Manager role within the marine industry Strong understanding of refit, maintenance, or production processes Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and timelines Technical background (engineering, boatbuilding, or similar)
