They specialise in plumbing, electrical, heating and ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration and all other aspects of the building services to provide complete mechanical and electrical solutions.\n\nAbout the role:\n\nA fantastic opportunity has become available for a Project Manager within a well-established mechanical and electrical engineering company. We are looking for someone who understands all aspects of mechanical building services to join our fast-growing company with projects throughout the UK and internationally throughout the world.\n\nKey duties:\n\n * \n\n Manage multiple projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction\n\n * \n\n Plan and schedule work and resources across projects\n\n * \n\n Maintain high standards of installation quality and system performance\n\n * \n\n Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and up to date\n\n * \n\n Implement and manage all health & safety requirements, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH, and Permit to Work systems\n\n * \n\n Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery and clear communication\n\n * \n\n Review project specifications and adjust as needed to meet client requirements\n\n * \n\n Understand and manage project contractual obligations, including identifying and recovering variation income\n\n * \n\n Oversee financial aspects such as invoicing, variations, and cost control\n\n * \n\n Interpret customer requirements and maintain professional communication\n\n * \n\n Accurately estimate labour and materials costs, with a focus on continuous improvement\n\n * \n\n Maintain and update project programmes, including redline progress tracking\n\n * \n\n Provide regular progress reports for internal and client updates\n\n * \n\n Manage time effectively to maximise productivity\n\n * \n\n Travel to sites across the UK and overseas as required to monitor progress and liaise with clients\n\n * \n\n Represent the company professionally at all times\n\nWhat's on Offer:\n\n * Competitive Salary (Can go higher depending on experience), Company Car or Car Allowance, Bonus Scheme, Death in Service Benefits, Company Mobile and Laptop\n\nPerson Specification:\n\n * Must have proven experience as a project manager within the construction industry and proven experience in people management..
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.\n\n * Solid organisational skills include attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.\n\n * Qualification in project management or equivalent.\n\n * Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with good conflict management skills.\n\n * Be prepared to travel throughout the UK and overseas when required.\n\n * Security clearance would be an advantage.\n\n * Must have full UK driving license
