Project Manager / Site Manager – Bulk Earthworks – Kent – Immediate Start

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Site Manager for a bulk earthworks scheme based in Aylesford, with an immediate start available. This is a key role overseeing a large-scale cut & fill and remediation project, requiring strong technical knowledge, geotechnical understanding, and excellent site management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing day-to-day site operations on a bulk earthworks scheme

* Overseeing large-scale cut & fill operations, material management, and sequencing

* Managing remediation works in line with geotechnical specifications

* Producing and maintaining site records, daily diaries, and QA documentation

* Preparing progress reports, dashboards, and programme updates

* Developing and managing lookahead and prediction reports

* Monitoring production against programme and identifying risks / mitigation

* Coordinating plant, labour, and subcontractors

* Liaising with engineers, surveyors, geotechnical consultants, and client representatives

* Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained across site

Requirements:

* Proven experience delivering bulk earthworks projects

* Strong background in cut & fill, mass haul, and material balance

* Experience managing remediation and geotechnical earthworks

* Geotechnical qualification or strong geotechnical background required

* Ability to manage and update construction programmes

* Excellent record keeping and reporting skills

* Confident with progress tracking and forecasting

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* SMSTS / CSCS (Black or Gold preferred)

* First Aid (preferred)

This role would suit a hands-on Project Manager or experienced Site Manager with a strong earthworks and geotechnical background, capable of driving production while maintaining accurate reporting, programme control, and technical compliance.
