Job Title: Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA & CX Transformation Location: Reading - 2 day Employement type: Contract/Permanent Job Type: 6 months- Inside IR35 Role overview: Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA & CX Transformation Role Overview An experienced Project Manager is required to lead the delivery of a greenfield SAP S/4HANA and SAP CX transformation for a mid-market organisation. This role requires a delivery leader who has successfully managed end-to-end SAP programmes of similar scale and complexity, with a strong command of SAP Activate methodology, and the ability to balance structure with pragmatic execution. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Governance Own the end-to-end project plan, milestones, and delivery across all SAP Activate phases * Establish and manage governance structures including status reporting, RAID logs, and steering committees * Ensure alignment across stakeholders, workstreams, and delivery partners Delivery Management Lead coordination across functional, technical, and integration workstreams * Ensure delivery of agreed outputs in line with scope, timelines, and quality expectations * Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and the critical path Client & Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary interface for client stakeholders and programme sponsors * Drive decision-making, manage expectations, and handle escalations effectively * Communicate clearly at both operational and executive levels Commercial & Execution Discipline Track delivery against plan, effort, and budget * Maintain control over scope and support structured change management where required * Ensure strong delivery rigour and accountability across the team Integrated Planning Across Workstreams Ensure effective coordination with customer-led streams including: * Data migration * Testing * Training and change management * * Provide structure and oversight to ensure these streams are aligned with the overall delivery plan Key Skills & Experience Proven experience delivering greenfield SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP CX programmes * Strong, hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology (mandatory) * Demonstrated track record delivering mid-market SAP transformations of similar scope * Experience managing multi-stream programmes with complex dependencies * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills * Commercial awareness with disciplined delivery execution Success Measures Delivery of key milestones on time and within agreed scope * Strong stakeholder alignment and sustained confidence throughout the programme * Effective and proactive management of risks, issues, and dependencies * Clear, structured, and predictable project execution Profile Summary A structured and delivery-focused Project Manager who combines SAP programme experience, strong governance discipline, and pragmatic execution capability, with a proven ability to lead mid-market transformation programmes from initiation through to deliver
