Affinity Water has a fantastic opportunity to join our Capital Delivery - River Restoration Team as a Project Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The Role:
As a River Restoration Project Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders and supply chain partners to design and build environmental projects on chalk streams, supporting Affinity Water’s commitments under the Water Industry National Environment Program (WINEP).
What you'll be doing:
- Work with supply chain to create project designs that meet stakeholder needs and comply with environmental permits.
- Manage contracts and oversee supply chain partners to deliver projects, ensuring safety, construction, and environmental regulations are met.
- Act as the primary contact with framework suppliers and manage communication with stakeholders.
- Provide accessible project management information.
- Ensure projects adhere to timescales, budgets, and quality standards, even in challenging environments.
- Travel across all three Affinity Water regions and attend stakeholder events as required, including evenings or weekends.
What you'll need:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience building relationships with internal stakeholders and regulators.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Asite software is desirable.
- At least 5 years of project management experience.
- Experience with NEC family of contracts, including writing and reviewing.
- Experience working with supply chain partners and managing stakeholders such as Landowners, Local Authorities, and the Environment Agency.
- UK Driving Licence.

Benefits:
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (dependent on skills and experience)
- Hours: 08:30-17:00 (Mon-Thu), 08:30-16:30 (Fri)
