Project Manager\n\nPlymouth\n\nPermanent Position\n\nCompetitive salary + Car/Car Allowance + Flexible Benefits \n\n \n\nSummary\n\n \n\nWe have an opportunity for a mechanical Project Manager to join our team based in Plymouth. \n\n \n\nIn this role you will control the overall operational delivery of a project (or part thereof), taking account of the safety, technical, commercial and managerial requirements through the whole lifecycle of the project through bid and pre-commencement to successful completion. You will ensure that profitability is maintained or improved through effective leadership and management of the support functions, and high quality customer relationships\n\n \n\nThis is a permanent staff position with NG Bailey, and due to the nature of work being undertaken the successful candidate will need to go through the security clearance process. Because of this we are only able to accept applications from British , who ideally have not worked outside the UK in the last 5 years.\n\n \n\nWhat we’re looking for: \n\n \n\nEnsure that our safety first and foremost message is visible and alive through all activities on the project\n\nParticipate in bid activities to ensure a professional, profitable, successful bid which meets customer expectations\n\nManage pre-commencement activities in conjunction with the Pre-construction Manager\n\nMaximise opportunities, efficiency and profitability in the delivery phase of the project\n\nEnsure precise provision of customer requirements by effectively reviewing the scope of works and installation methods.\n\nIdentify and manage risks\n\nLead the team, including specialist sub-contractors, through all stages of the project through to successful completion\n\nLead contract reviews, including preparation and submission of reports and any project related data.\n\nPrepare and update business plans with the Commercial Director\n\nDevelop and maintain positive long-term customer relationships\n\n \n\nRequirements:\n\n \n\nTo be successful in this role you will have demonstrable mechanical building services experience in a construction environment, with previous experience in a similar role.\n\nIndustry recognised trade or professional qualification / Apprenticeship in mechanical discipline\n\nObtaining security clearance \n\nSpecific experience of working on high value projects\n\n \n\nBenefits:\n\n \n\nWe're always evolving our benefits to ensure we're attracting and retaining great people.
