Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an exceptional Project Manager to join a charity dedicated to reducing the harm caused by crime and punishment through lived experience-led change.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with personal experience of the criminal justice system to step into a leadership role delivering impactful programmes across London prisons, IRCs, secure mental health settings, and community services.
About the Role
You will lead two major programmes at the intersection of health, justice, and forensic mental health, managing projects that amplify lived experience and influence real system change.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading delivery of Patient & Public Voice (PPV) activity across custodial and community settings
Recruiting, training, and supporting lived experience volunteers and peer workers
Managing stakeholder relationships across NHS, prisons, and partner organisations
Facilitating engagement sessions, focus groups, and co-production initiatives
Overseeing governance, safeguarding, reporting, and project performanceAbout You
To be successful, you must have:
Lived experience of prison or probation
Strong project management experience
Experience supporting volunteers, peer workers, or lived experience roles
A background working with vulnerable groups in complex systems (e.g. prisons, NHS, forensic MH)
Experience of facilitation, co-production, and line managementWhy Apply?
