Project Manager\n\nSector - Light Construction, Interior Fit, Shopfitting, Professional Foodservice Kitchens.\n\nJob Type: Permanent\n\nLocation: Northern England Home Based - Leeds, York, Bradford, Huddersfield, Darlington, Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Middlesbrough\n\nPost Code: LS1 4DY\n\nSalary: £45,000 to £55,000 (depending on relevant experience) + Car/Car Allowance\n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nEstablished firm in the professional foodservice sector require an experienced Project Manager to join the team. You will be working on the installation of professional kitchens in restaurants and hotels etc. It is expected that anyone with this background will have a thorough knowledge of M&E as well as a solid working knowledge of Health and Safety.\n\nYour role will involve;\n\nChecking of equipment specifications, design and services drawings, and equipment purchase orders.\nApproval of specialist contractors' manufacturing drawings.\nHandling of any design or equipment variations and extras.\nAttendance at all necessary site meetings, in person where needed or on Teams / Zoom\nProducing or coordination of relevant risk assessments and method statements.\nCarrying out surveys and site dimensions of all relevant working areas, checking site access and continually checking on progress of the construction site prior to delivery of any of the catering equipment package.\nSupervising the installation and commissioning of kitchen and servery equipment.\nDrawing up of snags & defects lists and ensuring a speedy and satisfactory completion.\nDetailed checking of Job Costings and addressing any variations with suppliers, reaching a rapid and satisfactory resolution.
