Job Description
Project Manager – Fixed Term Contract (23 Months)
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary: £53,875 – £56,600
Hours: 35 per week (flexible working)
Our public sector client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major equipment upgrade project. This is a 23-month fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible, and offers an exciting opportunity to deliver a high-profile, multi-million-pound initiative with significant organisational impact.
About the Role
You will manage the end-to-end delivery of a complex project focused on replacing and upgrading critical operational equipment. The project involves extensive planning, integrating new systems, and rolling out of training.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading planning, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities. Coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers. Managing training roll outs. Ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and budget.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects—ideally involving equipment upgrades, roll outs, and training in a public sector or similar environment. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Ability to work proactively and confidently at all levels of the organisation. Flexibility for occasional travel across Scotland as required.
