Job Description

A leading project and cost consultancy based in Central London are looking for an ambitious Project Manager who has a background within a construction consultancy and strong exposure delivering the whole lifecycle of schemes in the living, education and healthcare sectors.\n\nThe Company that the Project Manager will join: \n\nThe Project Manager will be joining a globally recognised consultancy that have a healthy pipeline of schemes that range from refurbishments of PBSA to Build to Rent developments with contract values up to £100m.\n\nThe Project Manager role:\n\nThe Project Manager will be confident at carrying out pre and post contract duties under the JCT suite of contract and the Project Manager will be delivering schemes in different stages of their construction lifecycle within the living, education and healthcare sector.\n\nThe Project Manager will be joining a close-knit team of 15 consultants ranging from graduate Project Manager to Directors. The Project Manager will bring previous experience at carrying out Contract Administration duties.\n\nYou will be responsible for: \n\nDriving forward live/upcoming Project from design-construction phase\nCommunicating effectively with internal/external parties ensuring that Projects are progressing\nCommunicate with senior members of the project and cost consultancy team\nReporting progress feedback on Projects to Associate Directors and Stakeholders\nReviewing costs regularly to ensure Schemes are within Budget constraints\nAttending meetings with clients\nEnsure all works are compliant with safety and quality standardsProject Manager requirements: \n\nExperience working for a construction consultancy\nKnowledge of working within the living sector, education or healthcare\nMRICS qualified or working towards it\nA relevant BSc/MSc in Construction industry would be ideal\nDriving Licence / Car would be useful\nAbility to manage Schemes simultaneously\nStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWhat would be offered:\n\n£55,000-£65,000 per annum salary package\n25 days annual leave + bank holidays\nCompetitive bonus structure up to 20%\n3 days office/site & 2 days WFH\nSite visits expensed for\n6% pension contribution\nCycle to work scheme\nWork phone / Laptop\nRegular company eventsIf you are a dedicated Project Manager who is searching for an exciting opportunity within a forward-thinking construction consultancy, please contact Luca Beltrami at Ernest and Florent.\n\n(phone number removed) - (phone number removed)\n\nReference - LB(phone number removed)
