Project Manager - Energy Trading - up to £130k base + bonus - London

I've partnered with an energy trading firm that's expanding its technology team and is looking for a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a new trading system implementation across physical and financial markets.

The Role
\n
You'll take ownership of the full delivery lifecycle for a large-scale trading system rollout, acting as the bridge between Front to Back Office teams. This is a hands-on, front-office-facing role where you'll drive momentum, manage senior stakeholders, and ensure the platform is delivered safely, compliantly, and on time.

What You'll Do
\n
\n Lead delivery of a new trading system across physical and financial markets
\n
Build and manage integrated delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies
\n
Coordinate FO, Tech, Risk, Ops, Compliance, and Regulatory stakeholders
\n
Identify risks early and proactively drive solutions
\n
Maintain alignment, governance, and delivery pace in a high-pressure environment
\n
Ensure systems, controls, reporting, and operational processes are fully ready for go-live
\n
\n
Experience Required
\n
\n Experience in energy or commodities trading (energy )
\n
Exposure to both physical and financial trading
\n
Understanding of FO trading workflows, risk & PnL drivers, and operational/regulatory controls
\n
Experience delivering large-scale system implementations
\n
Experience partnering with ETRM and trading technology teams
\n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
