Job Description

A leading UK utilities contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver gas infrastructure projects across the UK.\n\nThe role involves managing projects across pipelines and above-ground installations (AGIs), including PRSs, Offtakes, Compressor Stations and Terminals. Works range from core maintenance to complex, multi-discipline schemes aligned with the UK’s energy transition, including Hydrogen and CCUS.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Manage gas projects from construction through commissioning and close-out\n\n * \n\n Interface with pre-construction teams to ensure effective project handover\n\n * \n\n Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with HSEQ, regulatory and industry standards\n\n * \n\n Manage project budgets, variations and commercial performance\n\n * \n\n Maintain project programmes and manage delivery-phase risks\n\n * \n\n Act as the primary client contact during delivery\n\n * \n\n Lead and support site and project teams\n\nEssential Experience\n\n * \n\n Proven experience delivering gas infrastructure projects (utilities sector experience advantageous)\n\n * \n\n Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills\n\nDesirable\n\n * \n\n Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent)\n\n * \n\n SMSTS and CSCS\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Competitive remuneration\n\n * \n\n Nationwide projects and long-term pipeline of work\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to manage a portfolio of projects\n\n * \n\n Strong safety-led culture and career development opportunities
