Project Manager – Evaluation & Insight Programme\n \nContract: Fixed-term until September 2027\n Hours: Full time, 41 hours per week (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)\n Location: Central London (hybrid working)\n Salary: £43,755 – £51,465 per annum\n\n We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, publicly funded organisation operating within the UK’s cultural and creative sector, for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a major, multi-year evaluation and insight programme.\n\n This role plays a key part in coordinating complex, cross-functional activity that supports evidence-led decision-making, organisational learning and long-term strategic planning.\n\n Hybrid working is offered, with occasional in-person attendance in central London at key project milestones (approximately 1–2 days per month). Occasional travel to other UK sites may also be required.\n\n The Role:\nReporting to a Senior Evaluation Manager, the Project Manager will support the successful delivery of a large-scale evaluation and insight programme, acting as a central coordination point between internal teams and external consultants.\n\n You will ensure strong project governance, clear communication, effective planning and alignment across multiple concurrent workstreams. The role combines hands-on project management with stakeholder engagement, reporting, governance support and insight coordination.\n\n This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working at the intersection of research, evaluation, project delivery and stakeholder engagement within a complex organisational environment.\n Key Responsibilities \nDay-to-day management of a major evaluation and insight programme and related project deliverables \nSupporting the Senior Evaluation Manager with planning, coordination and delivery of evaluation activity \nActing as a key liaison between internal teams, external consultants and programme stakeholders \nCoordinating workshops, roundtables, interviews and consultation sessions \nPreparing briefing materials, agendas, summary notes and reports \nManaging programme governance meetings, papers, actions and reporting \nMaintaining project plans, risk registers, issues logs and dependencies \nProducing accurate and timely project reporting using Microsoft 365 tools (including Planner) \nSupporting data gathering, documentation and insight synthesis \nWorking with internal communications teams to support clear and consistent project communications \nHandling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality About You:\nWe are seeking candidates with strong experience in project or programme management, ideally within a research, evaluation, policy, cultural, public or not-for-profit setting.\n You will bring:\n \nExperience in research, evaluation and/or programme management \nExperience supporting or delivering cross-cutting projects from inception through to delivery \nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines \nExperience tracking risks, issues and dependencies across complex programmes \nConfidence working with stakeholders across teams and levels of seniority \nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word) \nExperience with financial administration, budgeting, procurement or invoice processing \nAn understanding of, or interest in, the cultural, creative or public sector landscape Skills & Attributes: \nHighly organised with a methodical and structured approach \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills \nAble to summarise and present complex information clearly \nProactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working independently \nStrong relationship builder and collaborative team player \nComfortable working in a dynamic and evolving programme environment \nCommitment to diversity, inclusion and continuous professional development How to Apply:\n To be considered, candidates must apply via this advert.\n\nPlease click on the ‘Apply’ button below
