Project Manager – Deeside / North West – Static Role - £57-60k + 10% pension + quarterly bonus + BUPA + 28 days leave + Bank Holidays + annual pay review
Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Project Manager from either an electrical or mechanical background to join a major manufacturing site in the Deeside area. This Project Manager role sits within a large, well-known industrial environment that is currently going through significant investment and transformation, offering the successful Project Manager genuine scope to make an impact quickly.
This Project Manager position will suit someone who is comfortable operating as the central point of coordination across multiple stakeholders, taking full ownership of projects from concept through to completion in a complex, live manufacturing environment.
Key aspects of the Project Manager role include:
* Project Manager role is focused on delivering CAPEX and revenue projects from cradle to grave, including specification, tendering, procurement, installation and commissioning
* Initial focus for the Project Manager will be a significant multi-million-pound plant upgrade project, requiring strong planning, contractor management and stakeholder coordination skills
* Project Manager will act as the hub for all project communication, working closely with manufacturing, procurement, finance, supply chain and on-site contractors
* Experience managing external contractors and leading small teams is essential, with responsibility for ensuring safe working practices and compliance
* Successful Project Manager will have strong budgetary control experience, including CAPEX justification, cost tracking and financial reporting
* Project Manager role requires excellent stakeholder management and the ability to operate effectively in a changing, sometimes resource-constrained environment
* Candidates are likely to come from a systems integrator or heavy industrial / process environment background
* Degree qualified is strongly preferred, high calibre HND/HNC level candidates with relevant experience will be considered

* Because the role is plant based, it’ll be static without any travel involved
In terms of package, the Project Manager role offers:
* Salary £57-60k (includes annualised hours/overtime element)
* Quarterly bonus scheme based on plant performance
* 10% pension contribution
* Private medical insurance
* 28 days holiday + Bank Holidays, can use plus or minus 18 days per year and either reallocate from the next year’s allowance or use more the following year
* Annual salary review
The role is fully site-based near Deeside with flexible start/finish times around core hours.
This Project Manager role is commutable from Deeside, Chester, Wrexham, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Warrington, Runcorn and surrounding areas.
