A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a high-profile data centre development in Berkshire . This is a key role on a major scheme, offering the opportunity to work on a technically complex, fast-paced project within a well-established delivery team.
The Role
You will take ownership of project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and coordinate with key stakeholders across all phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day project operations on site
Manage programme, cost, and quality performance
Coordinate subcontractors and internal teams
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Drive project milestones and reporting to senior leadership
Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Manager with a Tier 1 or leading contractor
Strong background in delivering large-scale construction projects
Data centre experience highly desirable
Experience on major or complex schemes (e.g. mission-critical, infrastructure, or industrial projects)
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Relevant construction qualifications (e.g. degree or equivalent)
