Freelance Construction Project Manager – Shed Builds & Refurbishments / Production Environments\n\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a leading industrial construction and refurbishment contractor who is seeking an experienced Freelance Construction Project Manager to oversee projects across warehouse builds, shed refurbishments, industrial units, and production line upgrades.\n\nThis is a fantastic long-term freelance opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge of industrial construction and the ability to manage live production environments safely and efficiently..\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Lead and manage construction projects across industrial and warehouse environments\n\n * Oversee shed builds, refurbishments, and production line upgrades\n\n * Manage subcontractors and site teams to deliver works to specification\n\n * Coordinate programmes, schedules, and procurement needs\n\n * Ensure strict health & safety compliance, particularly in live production areas\n\n * Liaise with clients, operational teams, and stakeholders\n\n * Produce reports, RAMS, progress updates, and handover documentation\n\n * Problem-solve onsite challenges and maintain project momentum\n\nAbout You\n\n * Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in: Industrial shed builds, Warehouse & unit refurbishments, Production/processing line environments\n\n * Strong leadership and communication skills\n\n * Ability to manage multiple trades and interface with operational production staff\n\n * Competent with project reporting and documentation\n\n * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid required\n\n * Full UK driving licence – comfortable travelling to various sites\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Approach Personnel Ltd that is operating as an employment business.
