Job Title: Project Manager Civil Engineering (Water Utilities)Location: WN8, United KingdomSalary: £60,000 £80,000 (dependent on experience) + Car Allowance / Company VehicleAbout the RoleAn established medium sized civil engineering contractor delivering projects within the water utilities sector is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in the WN8 area. This is a site based role with office visits. This role will involve managing the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and within budget.It is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering essential infrastructure schemes with strong long-term project pipelines.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the delivery of civil engineering / water utility projects from inception through to completionLeading site teams and coordinating subcontractors and suppliersEnsuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budgetManaging project programmes, resources, and budgetsLiaising with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomesOverseeing health, safety, quality, and environmental complianceManaging project reporting, forecasting, and progress updatesIdentifying risks and implementing mitigation strategiesRequirementsProven experience working as a Project Manager within civil engineering or utilitiesExperience delivering water infrastructure or utility projects is highly desirableStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsGood commercial awareness and experience managing project budgetsKnowledge of industry standards and health & safety regulationsRelevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (preferred)Salary and Package£60,000 £80,000 salary depending on experience (top end for senior level PMs)Car allowance (approximately 10% of salary) or company vehicle20% uplift on car allowance if opting for an electric vehicle (EV)Competitive benefits packageJBRP1_UKTJ
