We design, manufacture and install some of the most intricate and prestigious commercial joinery projects across London and the South-East.Operating from a modern, state-of-the-art facility, we combine cutting-edge manufacturing technology with exceptional craftsmanship to deliver first-class results to commercial and private clients.As we continue to grow, we are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager with strong technical joinery expertise to join our expanding team.The OpportunityThis is not a generic construction Project Manager roleWe require a technically capable bespoke commercial joinery professional who understands how detailed joinery packages are designed, developed and manufactured.A core element of this position involves preparing and coordinating comprehensive CAD information packs, ensuring all technical detail is accurate and complete before drawings are produced for manufacture.You must be confident reading architectural drawings and specifications, understanding complex joinery detailing, and translating design intent into practical manufacturing information.Candidates from general construction, steelwork or unrelated trades will not be suitable for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesManage bespoke commercial joinery projects from pre-construction through to final installationReview and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and tender documentationPrepare and coordinate detailed CAD information packs to enable accurate technical drawing productionEnsure all technical design information is complete, manufacturable and commercially viableLiaise closely with design, production and site teams to ensure seamless deliveryUndertake pre-construction site surveysDevelop, agree and manage project programmesEnsure materials, labour and design resources are fully aligned to programmeAssist with cost planning and monitor budgets throughout project lifecycleLead and coordinate internal and external project teamsMaintain strong, professional client relationshipsDeliver projects to exceptional quality standardsPromote and drive continuous Health & Safety improvementsAbout YouEssential Experience & SkillsProven background within bespoke commercial joinery / joinery fit-outStrong technical understanding of joinery construction methods, materials and finishesDemonstrable experience preparing technical information for CAD/drawing productionAbility to confidently read and interpret architectural drawings and specificationsExperience managing joinery projects through manufacture and installationClear understanding of manufacturing processes within a joinery environmentCSCS CardStrong organisational and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilityDesirableSSSTS or SMSTSHigher education qualification (construction/joinery related)Location & Working PatternThe role is based between our Head Office in Hemel Hempstead and project sites, primarily in London and the surrounding areas.
