Project Manager – AI Research

London (Hybrid) | Approx. £72,000 (Plus Benefits) | Fixed-Term Contract

We are seeking a Project Manager to support cutting-edge AI research initiatives. In this role, you’ll collaborate with researchers, engineers, product teams, legal, and policy stakeholders to drive execution of ambitious research programs. Your focus will be on eliminating roadblocks, ensuring alignment, and clearly communicating progress and goals to all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with researchers and cross-functional teams to communicate research plans, progress, and outcomes.
• Translate strategy into structured project plans, aligning team goals with broader organizational objectives.
• Drive execution by managing timelines, risks, interdependencies, and reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
• Support teams through project-driven change and ensure ongoing alignment and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in AI-related fields such as machine learning, recommendation systems, or data mining.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven ability to operate independently, manage details, and deliver results.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Direct experience in generative AI or large model (LLM) research.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
