Job Title: Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager Salary/Grade: £46,329 - £57,000 per annum (depending on experience) Location: Larne Benefits: Up to 12% bonus 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution up to 6% Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution. The opportunity As the Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager, you will manage multiple complex Electric Power projects from conception through to completion. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work alongside project teams across engineering, supply chain, procurement and commissioning to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard. You will focus on providing leadership to the project team(s) executing all the project activities related to the fiscal reporting, engineering, procurement, purchasing, logistics, quality, EHSS, site technical assistance and commissioning of Large Electric Power (LEP) Solutions projects. As the Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager, you will drive continuous improvement of project management processes through the development of collaborative relationships amongst the Power Solutions work group, with customers, suppliers, and other cross functional groups. What you will do: Understand the project technical and commercial requirements, local conditions, statutory requirements. Develop project schedule, project costing, and manage document control. Collaborate with our dealers in managing customer change orders, facilitating the project team in making sound technical and commercial assessments and decisions. Develop the risk identification and risk mitigation strategies, jointly working with team members and dealers on projects. Assist the dealer project team in the development and execution of their project execution strategy, tactics, and transactional activities. Practice and manage regular communications and reporting with team members, dealers, customers, and management. Document and resolve issues using local or regional project resources and working relationships where possible, holding project team members responsible to make the project successful. Support the manufacturing facility Quality Engineer and Dealer site team in closing project site 'punch list' items. Project Management: The ability to plan, organise, monitor, and control construction, industrial and/or infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient utilisation of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives. Experience identifying project risks and vulnerabilities and developing appropriate contingency plans. Ability to anticipate and execute project changes while facilitating effective issue resolution and communication of updates. Demonstrated ability to own commercial delivery as projects transition from presales into execution. Demonstrated experience with managing at least 2-3 concurrent projects without reducing productivity and delivery performance. Requirements Analysis: Relationship Management: Proven capability to manage relationships between the Global Account Management (GAM) team, dealer, and end customer to develop and maintain a cohesive project strategy. There is some travel required up to 20% of the time.
