Our client, a world leader in maritime navigation and mission systems, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer Manager to lead the delivery of complex engineering projects. You’ll manage system and software development for naval bridge and maritime surveillance systems, overseeing project planning, task allocation, and team performance.
What you’ll do:
* Lead projects from bid to support, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
* Supervise engineers and coordinate sub-contractor activities.
* Track progress, risks, and resources, maintaining configuration control.
* Work closely with customers and contribute to process and technology improvements.
You’ll need:
* Degree in Engineering or related field; PM qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMI) .
* Experience in programme/project management in engineering, software, or system design.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
* Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Maritime navigation/bridge systems or UK Defence project experience is advantageous.
