Job Role: Project Engineer - Packaging

The Role:

• Leading role in overseeing the implementation of packaging equipment and technology, utilising industry standards and engineering tools/principles.
• Managing all phases of technical packaging projects.
• Ensure projects are implemented and delivered from initial conception through to installation, commissioning and final handover.
• Budget Management
• Site Management – at the appropriate time in the project the engineers duties will require them to be site based and carry out the management / coordination of suppliers during the installation / commissioning phase of the project.
• Ensure compliance with legislation including CDM, Machinery Directive & PUWER

What we are looking for:

• System design & project delivery experience from within the FMCG (brewing/food/drink/pharmaceutical/Packaging) industry.
• Strong understanding of packaging machines, not required to design but competent in understand designs and support clients in bringing requirements to life.
• Can be a couple of years in or a PM/Principal Engineer level, looking for someone with the passion for this industry and its machinery.
• Willing to travel as and when required for the role
• Relevant Engineering Qualifications & preferred Project Management Qualifications.
