PROJECT ENGINEER / ESTIMATOR Electrical Contractor – Oxford Salary: £55,000–£60,000 + Benefits

An established and respected electrical contractor based in Oxford is seeking a skilled Project Engineer / Estimator to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit competitive tenders and quotations for works ranging from small refurbishments to £1m+

Interpret technical drawings and specifications, carrying out accurate material take-offs and procurement

*

Lead projects from tender through to final account, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction

*

Utilise IT software for estimating, project planning, and reporting (Word, Excel, Project, Access, PowerPoint)

*

Liaise with clients, principal contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure best-value solutions

*

Attend design and progress meetings; prepare RFIs, method statements, and risk assessments

*

Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, consultants, and end-user clients

*
